Fall has settled in Wisconsin. The trees have turned from green to shades of tan, yellow, orange, and red. Maple Hollow and most of Wisconsin did not experience a brilliant color change this Fall, possibly due to a lack of sunshine and an abundance of rain. Now is the time to prepare your sugaring operation for winter. Items to include on your list are to cover smokestacks, check tubing systems, cover storage tanks, cut firewood, and prepare woods roads for winter and spring use. Maple Hollow has various sizes and styles of roof jacks and stack covers as well as tubing, mainline, and other sugaring supplies.
